Broad Overview
This individual will have a focus on SERB’s Emergency Medicine Business Unit, reporting into SERB’s Sr. Director of Commercial Operations. This individual is expected to work out of our Conshohocken, PA office on a hybrid schedule.
As the Associate Director, Business Insights & Analytics, some of your responsibilities
will include:
KPI Development and Performance Tracking:

Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for sales force effectiveness.

Implement performance scorecards, including segmentation and targeting alignment for all brands.

Track performance against established goals throughout the year to ensure strategic alignment.
Sales Force Effectiveness Collaboration:

Partner on initiatives related to sales force sizing, alignment, and incentive compensation strategies.

Analyse sales force performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Ensure alignment between sales strategies and overall business goals.
Data Analysis and Reporting:

Build a sustainable and efficient business analytics process to support the commercial organization

Conduct ad hoc and routine analyses using third-party and internal data (e.g., call activity, chargebacks, DDD, 867) to determine product trends, key opportunities and address critical business issues for the brand.

Consolidate a variety of data and information into actionable brand opportunities
-
Present findings to key stakeholders in a clear and actionable format.

Utilize advanced data analysis and business intelligence tools (Power BI) to gather and interpret insights.

Provide metrics, dashboards, performance reports and insights on the core business to key internal customers.

Provide ad-hoc analysis to support Business Development opportunities as and when needed.
Strategic Insights and Forecasting:

Collaborate with key stakeholders to lead the development of robust, opportunity-focused forecasts.

Synthesize diverse data sources to inform decision-making and strategic initiatives.

Leads, negotiates, and interacts with internal stakeholders to validate forecast assumptions.

Provide actionable recommendations through objective quantitative analyses and compelling business cases.
Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:

Work closely with internal stakeholders to validate analysis assumptions and enhance market understanding.

Communicate complex data findings clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Deliver compelling presentations and reports that facilitate data-driven discussions.
Project Management and Best Practices:

Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely and accurate delivery of insights.

Develop and implement best practices for data analytics to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Monitor project progress and adjust strategies as needed to meet objectives.

Maintain accountability for your ongoing professional growth in market research, forecasting, and analytics.

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related disciplines. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MS) preferred.

3+ years hands on quantitative analytical experience within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry/healthcare

Experience with revenue forecasting is preferred

Proficient in MS office( excel, PowerPoint)

SQL and PowerBI experience preferred

Experience with secondary data DDD, Claims, 867, Ex-factory

Demonstrated critical thinking, aptitude for quantitative analysis.

Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills with the ability to communicate and collaborate with colleagues, business partners, stakeholders, and upper management across varied styles.
