Broad Overview 

This individual will focus on data and analytics for SERBs commercial teams. This position is critical for the day to day operations and strategy in Commercial. Responsible for data quality, identifying trends, making recommendations for more effective processes, and implementing any necessary action items on an on going call. 

This individual will report into SERBs Sr. Director of Commercial Operations, and is expected to work out of our Conshohocken, PA office on a hybrid schedule.  

 

As a Commercial Operations Analyst your responsibilities will include:  

Data Management and Reporting 

  • Ensure data quality and integrity from various vendors/sources. 

  • Build and process monthly, weekly, and annual reports for field teams, management, Executive Leadership, and the Board of Directors. 

  • Conduct quarterly sales reviews for Sales Leadership Teams. 

  • Provide ad hoc reporting for sales data and critical data sets using Advanced excel and power BI. 

  • Ability to create reports and dashboards in Power BI 

 

Sales Effectiveness Analysis 

  • Implement and manage sales planning strategies to measure sales force effectiveness. 

  • Independently lead presentations to provide insights and analytics that drive continuous improvement in selling strategies and tactics. 

  • Translate data analysis into actionable insights and recommendations. 

  • Identify trends and opportunities across current and future products. 

 

Incentive Compensation Management 

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Sales Teams regarding ICP bonus payouts and commission inquiries. 

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing stakeholders to develop and design compensation strategies and plans, including: 

  • Target setting and achievement calculation. 

  • Tracking MBO and contest results. 

  • Analyzing quarterly payouts. 

  • Deliver ICP dashboards and reports and analyze the ICP process, providing future recommendations as needed. 

 

Stakeholder Collaboration 

  • Work closely with BTG Leadership, the Analytics team, and external vendors to ensure alignment and effective communication. 

  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, including sales and marketing heads, by creating presentations and facilitating meetings. 

  • Create and manage quarterly alignment, call plans, sales goals, and payouts.

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate: 

  • Bachelor's Degree in analytics or related field required 

  • 3+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience is preferred 

  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, specifically Power BI is preferred 

  • Ability to present analytical data to groups of Leadership and employees as needed 

  • Strong analytical skills 

  • Strategic thinking and detail orientated  

  • Project management skills and ability to work collaboratively 

  • Flexibility to perform under deadlines 

  • Ensure that all interactions and engagements uphold the highest ethical and professional standards 

  • Complete all work with quality and in accordance with Company values  

  • Carry out other reasonable tasks as required by the Line Manager
