Broad Overview
The Commercial Development Associate Director/Director (CDD) is a customer-facing (~80%) role responsible for designing customer engagement strategy, driving insight generation, and building productive relationships with Scientific Societies, Speakers, National/Regional Medical Experts and other key influencers in their assigned geography.
The CDD will build advocacy and support for Bentracimab (New Product Launch) among thought leaders using approved materials and will serve as primary contact with these key influencers.
The CDD is responsible for compliantly liaising with Medical Affairs, R&D, Market Access, Sales, and Marketing to execute customer engagement plans, address customer needs, generate feedback and insights, identify/initiate appropriate projects of mutual interest to SERB and customers, anticipate market trends, and uncover competitive intelligence, ensuring delivery against business objectives.
This individual will report into the Head of Commercial Development, and will support the East Coast for the CD Team.
As a Director, Commercial Development, your responsibilities will include:
- Co-create hospital focused CDD team.
- Build and lead the implementation of an integrated Advocacy Strategy for Bentracimab
- Establish a capability to generate and deliver timely customer insights across care pathways and the hospital setting.
- Thought Leader/KOL engagement.
- Scientific Societies partnerships
- Conventions and Congresses
- Peer to Peer educational programs
- Compliance
- Maintain current scientific knowledge.
- Pre-launch engagement and education of the hospital decision makers for successful product adoption at BLA approval
- Collaborate with key stakeholders including Sales, Medical, Legal and Regulatory to build and implement integrated Advocacy strategies.
- Communicate advocacy and KOL development strategy to the organization, ensuring consistency across all customer touch points. Frequent interactions and presentations with the Leadership Team.
- Develop and champion SERB brand to ensure it is consistently and meaningfully represented by external and internal stakeholders.
- Develop and/or evolve department operational procedures and processes that foster effective communications.
- Establish metrics and track program effectiveness and ROI.

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:
- 10+ years of Sales, Medical Science Liaison, TLL or Medical Affairs experience preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding and strategic application of Scientific knowledge, data, and partnerships with Scientific Societies
- Experience with acute care hospital products and breakthrough therapy designation is a plus.
- Cardiovascular, Antithrombotic and/or Surgery experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in Marketing or Commercial capacity is a plus.
- Self-motivated with leadership abilities with excellent communication skills
- Strong Leader with demonstrated team formation and leadership.
