Critical Needs. Immediate Action.

SERB is a fast-growing global specialty pharma company designed to address rare and urgent conditions by delivering life-saving medicines when time and complexity leave no room for failure.

We operate end-to-end across 100+ countries, ensuring 70+ essential medicines for rare diseases, emergency care, and medical countermeasures reach patients and clinicians with urgency – wherever and whenever they are needed. Shaped over the past 25 years by an entrepreneurial, disruptive spirit, SERB combines the focus and agility of a biotech with the scale, reach, and reliability of a global pharmaceutical company — always grounded in medical purpose, not corporate convention.

Our 600+ employees are driven by three core values:

  • Patients first, always
Patients are not a concept — they are why we act, especially when time matters most.

  • Impact focused
We are agile, entrepreneurial, and disciplined - working smart and learning continuously to deliver results that matter, with the consistency, quality, and trust that critical care demands.

  • Team powered
We go the extra mile - together - because our shared commitment drives extraordinary outcomes.

Guided by a clear ambition and a relentless focus on patients, SERB continues to expand through selective, innovative acquisitions, launching new treatments and entering new geographies.  Across every step — from integration to delivery — our people act with passion, ownership, and determination to ensure life-saving medicines become available to patients who need them, worldwide.

Broad Overview

As Global Talent Acquisition Manager, you build and run SERB’s global Talent Acquisition capability. This is a strategic yet hands-on role — around 20% building the function (tools, process, employer brand, KPIs) and 80% delivering recruitment yourself. Based in Paris and reporting to the Group CHRO, you personally lead the direct hiring of SERB’s specialist, corporate and selected leadership roles across the group, and raise the recruitment capability of the wider HR team and hiring managers.

Created to support SERB’s fast international growth, this is a rare opportunity to build — and to lead. You shape how SERB hires globally and take the function forward, grounded in hands-on delivery, growing the team, tools and capability around it as SERB expands.

As a Talent Sourcer, your responsibilities will include:

Direct recruitment delivery

  • Personally manage the end-to-end recruitment of above-country (Global / EU) roles and France-based specialist, professional and selected leadership positions — including your own direct sourcing and headhunting.
  • Map talent markets, approach and engage passive candidates, run structured assessments, and close offers.
  • Own requisitions and pipelines in the ATS, working closely with hiring managers and HR partners.
  • Reduce SERB’s reliance on external search agencies by delivering selected niche and corporate hires in-house.

Building the TA capability

  • Own and continuously improve SERB’s recruitment technology and ATS, processes, playbook and hiring standards.
  • Define and track TA KPIs and hiring analytics.
  • Strengthen SERB’s employer brand and candidate attraction.
  • Build proactive talent pipelines and external succession pools for critical and recurring roles.
  • Shape and, over time, lead SERB’s global TA strategy.

Collaboration & team

  • Manage one experienced Sourcer, allocating their sourcing support across your own roles and those led by the country HR teams.
  • Partner closely with the Global HR Business Partners, the country / Recruiting HR teams and hiring managers within a matrixed organisation.
  • Coach hiring managers and HR colleagues on direct sourcing and selection best practice.

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:

Technical Skills

  • The ability to lead, and to collaborate effectively across a matrixed, international organisation.
  • Fluent English.
  • A builder’s ambition — this is your opportunity to shape a global TA function in a fast-growing, international specialty pharma.

Personal Skills

  • Strong emotional intelligence.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Curious, with strong investigative and research abilities.
  • Persistent and proactive.
  • Well-organized, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Team-oriented mindset.
  • Results-driven approach.
  • Discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

Education and Experience

  • A demonstrated track record of filling roles through direct sourcing — the core of this role.
  • Proven search / headhunting experience gained in a recruitment agency — essential, typically built over 8+ years in recruitment.
  • Recruitment experience in the pharmaceutical industry — required.
  • In-house / corporate recruitment experience — a plus.
