Seeking a Production Manager to oversee a team responsible for the immunization and bleeding of sheep for antibody production, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards. Key responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, ensuring facility compliance with TGA and FDA regulations, and upholding cGMP and GDP principles. The role also involves staff training and supervision to ensure efficient production operations.

Principle Responsibilities
Support the production of low bio-burden serum from the blood harvested in the Sheep Production Facilities by:
1. Ensure compliance with EHS, Animal Welfare, and cGMP standards by actively managing safety, welfare, and adherence to SOPs within the Production team.
2. Plan, schedule, and manage Production Team activities to ensure efficient and timely execution of production operations.
3. Liaise with key stakeholders including the Farm & Livestock Supervisor, Veterinarian(s), and Operations Manager to align production with animal health and business objectives.
4. Oversee staff training and development to maintain high competency, compliance, and continuous improvement within the team.
5. Contribute to the development and optimization of SOPs and workflow practices to enhance productivity and operational efficiency
Operate and supervise the production facility and employees on a day-to-day basis in such a way that:
1. Ensure all procedures and documentation comply with cGMP and GDP standards, including accurate records of immunisation, bleeding, health management, and equipment validation.
2. Oversee the maintenance, validation, preparation, and disposal of equipment and materials, ensuring readiness and compliance with SOPs.
3. Ensure immunisation and bleeding schedules are met, in coordination with relevant stakeholders such as the Site Director and Clean Room Supervisor.
4. Manage and support Production staff, including training records, performance management, and regular one-on-one meetings.
5. Promote efficiency and quality in work practices, upholding professional and ethical standards aligned with company values.

Education and Experience
· Demonstrated supervisory or management experience is essential (preferably of a large team with multiple direct reports).
· A tertiary qualification in Agriculture or Animal Husbandry would be highly regarded
· Chemcert accreditation is desirable
· Current drivers license required
· Front end loaders license desirable
Skills and Attributes
· Strong administrative skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook) and neat, legible handwriting.
· Professional and discreet, maintaining confidentiality and a consistently professional manner.
· Organised and proactive, able to prioritise tasks, manage pressure, and provide regular progress updates.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence working across all levels of seniority.
· Reliable, motivated, and team-oriented, with a flexible, "can do" attitude and willingness to assist in day-to-day operations.
