Broad Overview

 

As a Marketing & Advocacy Manager for SERB, you will combine responsibilities of sales, marketing, and advocacy to drive the success of our product portfolio across Germany. 
In this hybrid role, you will engage with healthcare professionals, patient organizations, and other stakeholders to foster relationships, promote our products and develop and execute strategic marketing initiatives. The role requires a self-motivated, highly organized individual passionate about making a difference for patients. 

 
As Marketing & Advocacy Manager Germany W/M, some of your responsibilities will include:

 

  • For a defined range of products, build and maintain strategic relationships with key external stakeholders, including KOLs, healthcare professionals, patient advocacy groups, and other influencers in the healthcare ecosystem 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Medical, Sales, and Market Access) to develop and execute Peer-to-Peer and Advocacy programs  

  • Design and implement marketing strategies tailored to the DACH region, leveraging insights from the field to align with broader corporate objectives 

  • Collaborate with internal teams and functions such as medical, sales, market access to create and drive promotional campaigns  

  • Lead the development of materials, programs and tactics to enhance product awareness and advocacy, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations 

  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes, adjusting marketing approaches to capitalize on growth opportunities 

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of key accounts and market dynamics, supporting strategic decision-making with actionable insights 

  • Propose, plan and implement events including congresses, webinars, round tables and symposia in the relevant markets and coordinate the support of other team members 

  • Support the General Manager in evaluating business opportunities through the collection of market / disease area insight 

  • Monitor the effectiveness of campaigns and sales efforts, identifying and implementing opportunities for improvement 

 

To be successful in this role, we believe that you should demonstrate :

 

Technical Skills

  • Proven track record of building relationships with healthcare professionals and patient organizations 

  • Understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, healthcare systems and regulatory requirements in Germany and ideally Austria and Switzerland 

  • Computer literacy (MS Office and iOS on Apple devices)  

  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel (~30-60%) 

  • Fluency in German is a must 

  • Excellent command of verbal and written English

  • Strong communication and presentation skills 
  • Excellent relationship skills and strong client orientation 

  • Self-motivated, highly organized 

  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment 

 

Education and experiences

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Marketing, Business, or related field; qualification as Pharmaberater:in (§75 AMG certification). 

  • Several years of experience in both specialty pharma sales and marketing roles
