Broad Overview  

  

The Sr. Director Access & Strategic Accounts will be reporting to the VP, Value & Access. The Sr. Director, Access & Strategic Accounts will lead the Strategic Account team inclusive of the Director of Strategic Accounts and six Strategic Account Managers. The strategic account team is responsible for presenting and securing access within targeted IDNs and hospitals. This team is responsible for the delivery of resources inclusive of health economic and disease related information to population healthcare decision makers at targeted health systems. 

The role requires strong leadership and proven abilities in launching products into the acute care setting. The Sr. Director Access & Strategic Accounts will partner to ensure a successful launch of all new products through excellent cross-functional collaboration to ensure pre-launch and launch activities leading to favorable access.  

 

Sr. Director Access & Strategic Accounts, your responsibilities will include:  

  

  • Lead the Strategic Account team in the execution of all SERB products within the hospitals and IDNs. 

  • Support all SERB brands driving access and provide perspective when BD opportunities arise  

  • Leadership & strategic guidance delivering access focused support materials (e.g., PIE, value propositions, BIMs)  

  • Develop and maintain collaborative cross-functional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders  

  • Working with the National Account Management and Pricing & Contracting Team, ensure negotiated deals are in-line with Gross-to-net strategy  

  • Develop trusting and collaborative relationships with National Account Management, Marketing, Sales, Commercial Development, Field Reimbursement, MSLs and other colleagues  

  • Partner with HEOR colleagues to develop a supportive story for the value of bentracimab that will resonate with key customers  

  • Lead Pull-Through opportunities within all key channels  

  • Provide pricing and reimbursement input and guidance around forecasting  

  • Ensure that all activities and interactions are carried out with the highest ethical and professional standards and that all work is accomplished with integrity and in accordance with SERB values.  

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business plans for assigned targets to ensure growth of SERB portfolio and future brands acquired and marketed through BD.   

  • Develop and maintain collaborative working relationships with external stakeholder decision makers and account influencers within assigned accounts.   

  • Collaborate with Medical Affairs to ensure fair balanced delivery of all product value proposition presentations, clinical proofs, economic models, tools, and other value add services are fully leveraged within assigned accounts.   

  • Accountable for achieving access and reimbursement goals as agreed upon and identified in account generated business plans.

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:  

  

  • Bachelor’s degree in sciences or business, MBA preferred.  

  • Minimum of 10 years in strategy/access marketing experience  

  • Demonstrated experience in launching new products in IDNs & hospitals  

  • Experience working and contracting with hospital GPOs, IDNs, Commercial, State & Government Payers  

  • Experience leading teams at the national level.  

  • Deep understanding of the specialty and acute care space, P&T & Formulary process, DRG reimbursement, specialty and distribution channels.  

  • Experience in identifying market trends and implications  

  • Understanding of the patient and reimbursement journey in the Acute Care space   

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with internal and external stakeholders  

  • Dynamic leadership qualities that foster trust and empowerment of team members  

  • Strong financial acumen, analytic and critical thinking skills
