Broad Overview
The Supply Planner is expected to work closely together with cross functional team to build an integrated volumes plan and to collaborate on key business priorities. This person is a key member delivering on any new product launches and is accountable to drive key supply performance metrics.
Moreover, this person ensures consistent and complete demand-supply reconciliation monthly – integrating requirements to availability, liaising with the S&OP process facilitators to align all internal departments on risks and opportunities.
Main responsibilities will consist of the following:

liaises constantly with the Sales and Operational Planning process owners

interlocks suppliers’ capacity to support business growth

participates to process improvement in the context of a fast-growing company
This individual will work out of our Conshohocken, PA office, with occasional travel to our Hattiesburg, MS location and other travel as needed by the company. This individual will have a focus on our product RSDL, with the likeliness of taking on more products in the future.
The Supply Planner reports to US Supply Manager and is in direct contact with the whole Supply Chain department. This person endorses the transversal business partner role with Commercial, Quality, Regulatory and Finance teams within this perimeter.
As a Supply Planner, your responsibilities will include:
Operational Supply Planning

Put a process of regular review of supply plans against customers sales forecasts and actual orders

Consolidate supply plans from all suppliers and share the same with the Trade Operations team
-
Organize regular Demand and Supply reconciliation or Rough Cut Capacity Planning meetings and identifying short-term capacity/availability constraints, highlighting these to the business and providing contingency plans

Review KPIs with the different suppliers and schedule regular steering committees
-
Work closely with the group Supply-Chain department for innovative forecast

Warrant of the product availability
Inventory Planning
-
Define the planning strategies at a “customer-sourcing unit-SKU” level based on forecasts and replenishment strategy (make-to-order vs make-to-forecast)

Define stock-holding principles for the make-to-forecast Stock Keeping Units (SKUs) in compliance with US regulations or other constraints in place
-
Monitor days-on-hand against target and identifying improvement opportunities
-
Drive slow-moving and obsolete stocks (SLOB) by highlighting slow and non-moving stocks to the business to generate appropriate actions with all teams concerned
Products availibility operations

Manage upstream transport operations between suppliers and distribution warehouse(s)

Manage Supply forecasts creation, modification, cancellations and communications as per agreements with suppliers

Manage Purchase Orders creation, modification, cancellations and communications as per agreements with suppliers
-
Manage stock receipts with the warehouse and in the system, and liaise with Quality to ensure release in time
Sourcing Network management

Supply agreements setup and renewal in relation with group Procurement Director and Supply Chain Director
-
Steering committees management with the suppliers to empower relationship on different topics and processes improvements management

Manage costs of goods changes with the Supply Chain director with the supplier and information

Work with teams to identify sourcing optimizations

Operational and Financial performance
-
Define necessary KPIs and report on weekly and/or monthly basis

Highly involved in budget exercises through costs of goods definition
Projects
-
Active member and facilitator for new products integration projects for the US market

Coordination with the different teams for new developments and/or products tech-transfers projects
-
Coordination with Program management and Regulatory teams
-
Being the warrant of plans and timings concerning product availability pre-requisites to drive each project steps timelines

Systems and capabilities
-
Roll out and strengthen key IT systems to help in supply planning activities in direct relation

Work with IT business partners to drive automation in the areas of demand and supply communication between different IT landscapes s

Ensure all master data is in place for uploading demand in different system

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate:

Bachelors or Master's degree in supply chain or a related field preferred

Relevant experience in pharmaceuticals products environment

Minimum 2-3 years of business experience

Pharmaceutical products environment (GMPs and GDPs)

ERPs good knowledge (SAP, SAGE, …)

Microsoft Office solutions
-
Ability to evolve in an international environment

Good knowledge of the US healthcare supply chain

Transversal management skills and ability to work with other departments

Analytical, communication, networking and interpersonal skills
