Broad Overview 

This role manages and delivers all training initiatives for the SERB Emergency Medicine Team but may include others as products come to market.  

This individual is expected to work out of our Conshohocken PA office on a hybrid schedule and will report into the Director of Training.  

An individual with Pharmaceutical training experience is highly preferred.

 

As a Training Manager, your responsibilities will include:  

  • Work directly with the Director of Training to design, develop, and implement cohesive, scalable and sustained learning programs which increase the skills, knowledge and performance of field commercial teams. 

  • Assess learning needs and devise flexible, scalable solutions to create demonstrable business impact. Measure and report results and adapt as necessary. 

  • Independently design/develop new training programs and concepts while managing internal and external support. 

  • Partner with subject matter experts and resources, both internally and externally, to implement and deploy learning solutions. 

  • Cultivate deep business knowledge and partnerships to inform the development of the learning strategy in support of near and long team needs of field teams. 

  • Lead skill and competency training for Key Account Managers and First-Line Leaders (Leadership skills / programming, competency skills workshops, etc.). 

  • Deliver training via both live and remote technology (ZOOM, TEAMS, etc.) as well as live classroom modalities for a capable hybrid-learning experience.  

  • Provide classroom, in-field and distance learning curriculum to Key Account Managers, First-line Leaders and strategic partners. 

  • Support product launches by close partnership with the therapeutic, brand and marketing teams. 

  • Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Training

To be successful in this role, you should demonstrate: 

  • Pharmaceutical experience mandatory, Training/ L&D experience highly preferred  

  • Experience building and managing training programs and curriculum development 

  • Professional selling skills training experience 

  • Exceptional facilitation/presentation/public speaking skills 

  • Strong project management skills 

  • Ability to work independently and self-motivated to provide an exceptional learning experience 

  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills 

  • Ability to understand and apply adult learning principles 

  • Product expertise 

  • Compliance/regulatory awareness 

  • Ability to travel/perform field rides 

 

Education / Experience: 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree required  

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of Hospital/Institutional

  • Pharmaceutical/Medical sales experience required 

  • Corporate Training Experience in relevance to Pharma products mandatory  

  • Understanding of rare disease sales experience strongly preferred. A combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration 

  • Field or commercial leadership experience required
